Understanding what’s important to our clients is always top of mind for BSE. We try to see projects from our client’s point of view. We make our analyses and recommendations based on factors that affect them such as building functionality, economic viability and socio-environmental responsibility.
On top of delivering to such key criteria, we understand it’s also crucial for our clients to be able to demonstrate it to their stakeholders. We provide full documentation as a means of proving quality, cost effectiveness and appropriate sustainability ratings (eg NABERS, Green Star).
We believe supporting our clients also includes providing continued service beyond any one project. We design with adaptability in mind, because often times, the physical scale and expectations of businesses change with time. For example, over the last 10 years, BSE has completed projects for IKEA starting in Brisbane progressing to Sydney, Melbourne and twice again in Sydney. In all cases the IKEA projects increased in size and complexity and our engineering solutions had to adapt to meet the longer term ownership requirements for energy and building usage.
In the last four years, BSE has completed 400 school building projects for Lend Lease. In the past six years, we have delivered over 300 fitout projects (adapting small to medium builds) for Jones Lang LaSalle. Over the past few years, we have also gained repeat business from other large companies including CBA, NAB, ANZ, Dexus Property Group and CB Richard Ellis.
