Fire Protection Designer / Engineer
Location: North Sydney
A great opportunity for a junior designer or design drafter to join our team and contribute to delivering a range of projects, scopes and buildings. With local experience, you have a reliable design understanding, are team and delivery focused and have a positive attitude and passion for growth.
Have experience as a design drafter or fire protection designer in an Australian building services consultancy or trade experience and are looking to move into design
Capacity to complete design and analysis of fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, detection and alarm) for the construction industry
Clear applied knowledge of local building codes and standards
Attention to detail, ability to manage time and conflicting priorities
Provide innovative design solutions
Are a team player with excellent communication skills, especially client-facing
Use latest technology – AutoCAD, Hyena, Microsoft suite
Revit knowledge (and/ or willing to learn)

Calculations, return briefs and reports
Client/ design meetings and site inspections
Satisfy codes, standards, project and quality requirements
