About you

  • Consistently demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, project team and internal teams

  • Have 4+ years’ experience in an Australian building services consultancy

  • Capacity to complete design and analysis of hydraulic services systems (gas, domestic potable water, domestic heated water, non-potable water, rainwater reuse systems, sanitary drainage and plumbing, trade waste, stormwater drainage, rainwater reuse, fire hydrant and hose reel systems) for the construction industry

  • Capacity to complete design and analysis of fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, detection and alarm) for the construction industry

  • Clear applied knowledge of local building codes and standards

  • Attention to detail, ability to manage time and conflicting priorities

  • Provide innovative design solutions

  • Are a team player with excellent communication skills, especially client-facing

  • Use latest technology – Revit (1+ years’ experience), Hyena, Microsoft suite, Bluebeam

  • Future possibility of leading the Hydraulics team

Role specifics

  • Hydraulic services design and documentation to scope expectations

  • Fire protection design and documentation to scope expectations

  • Calculations, return briefs and reports, client/ design meetings and site inspections

  • Satisfy codes, standards, project and quality requirements

  • Develop and utilise relationships with project partners, tailor offerings

  • Generate new opportunities for the business

  • Supervise and mentor junior team members
