Overview

Supporting National Aviation Security Infrastructure Across Multiple Locations

Project Jupiter is a federal government initiative to deliver aviation security infrastructure across Australian airports, supporting the Australian Federal Police (AFP) in responding to security and operational requirements.

The program involves the delivery of purpose-built facilities and upgrades across multiple locations, supporting consistent operational capability within airport environments.

Our Role

Building Services Design and Coordination Across Multiple Facility Types

BSE delivered building services design, documentation, and coordination across a range of Project Jupiter works, including:

  • AFP Workplace – Services were delivered for command centres rolled out across major airports, supporting operational and security requirements.
  • AFP Data Centres – Engineering design and support was provided for the AFP Cairns Main Facility (75 square metre data centre) and AFP Perth Main Facility (90 square metre data centre), located within international airport environments.
  • AFP Airport Upgrades – Building services input supported additional works at AFP offices within Sydney and Darwin airports.

Outcomes

Supporting Reliable Operation Across Security-Critical Environments

BSE’s engineering input supported the delivery of operational aviation security facilities capable of meeting the AFP’s requirements.

The works deliver reliable, safe, and functional building services across command centres, data centres, and operational offices, supporting aviation security infrastructure across Australia.
