Overview
Redevelopment of a Regional Hospital Facility in Goulburn
The Goulburn Hospital Redevelopment includes a new four-storey acute clinical services building delivered within an existing operational hospital campus.
The multi-stage, brownfield development incorporates a new emergency department, medical imaging department, operating theatres, day surgery, recovery and pre-admission areas, inpatient wards, palliative care facilities, and a maternity and birthing suite.
The project improves access to healthcare services while maintaining continuity of operations throughout delivery.
Our Role
Mechanical and ICT Peer Review During Delivery and Commissioning
BSE provided peer review services for mechanical and communications systems during construction administration, commissioning, and handover phases of the project.
This role involved reviewing design implementation and system performance to support compliance, coordination, and alignment with operational requirements within a complex, live healthcare environment.
Outcomes
Verified System Performance Supporting Hospital Operations
The peer review process supported the delivery of mechanical and ICT systems aligned with project requirements and operational needs.
Review and verification during construction and commissioning contributed to effective integration of systems within the broader hospital environment.
The completed redevelopment provides improved access to clinical services within a coordinated and functional healthcare facility.
