About you

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; or you are in your final year of your bachelor’s degree.

  • You have a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to learn.

  • You are curious and have a proactive nature.

  • Possess advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to think laterally.

  • Ability to multitask, balance high attention to detail with efficiency, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • A passion for the built environment.

  • Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Standards an advantage.

  • Take ownership for your role and prioritise planned tasks.

  • Previous relevant work experience, an advantage.

  • Proactive and innovative approach to solutions.

  • Routinely demonstrate your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, project team and internal teams.

  • Intelligent and articulate verbal and written communication skills.

  • Use latest technology – REVIT/AutoCAD, BIM360, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and One Driv

The role

  • Assisting with Electrical (power, lighting, communications, security etc) engineering, design and documentation to scope expectations.

  • Gaining experience in evaluations and electrical solutions and innovations to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

  • Calculations and return briefs.

  • Report writing.

  • Multi-discipline team and project management.

  • Client/ design meetings and site inspections.

  • Satisfy codes, standards, project and quality requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams and relevant authorities
