BSE was engaged by DMC Projects for Autosports Group’s new MacGregor Volkswagen dealership, located at 508 Kessels Road, which opened May 6th of this year. This replaces their previous location at Mt Gravatt.
Our QLD team provided electrical, mechanical, fire protection, hydraulic, and ESD engineering design services for the state-of-the-art, three-level sales and service facility. The dealership can display over 50 vehicles, including 12 within the showroom itself, and features a 14-bay service centre and a Molinari coffee bar.
Included in BSE’s scope was a Section J (JV3) assessment. Using energy simulations, we were able to demonstrate that the glazing and insulation systems proposed for the building complied with regulatory requirements.
