Welcome to our new Melbourne Office

Our Melbourne team were thrilled to welcome industry friends and partners to our new office on Collins Street recently. Our team have loved being in the bustling inner city of Melbourne, and our new space is a great new home for our growing team. With quality amenities and a comfy, modern design, our new office, located in a WELL Platinum rated building provides the facilities for innovation and collaboration.

Our team enjoyed showing off the new space to some of our closest industry friends, partners and colleagues and enjoyed a night of laughter, free flowing conversation, food and drinks.

Terrence Hing shares of the evening

It was a great turnout to celebrate BSE’s growth, new office, and ongoing collaboration with our many valued clients and project partners. Our new space provides such a great location and environment for the team, and a move to a building with sustainability initiatives including WELL Platinum Certification aligns with BSE’s sustainability goals. End of Financial Year update from our Director, Nicki Fraser.

From our National Finance Director, Nicki Fraser:

This financial year has been a whirlwind of activity for our-team with our continued journey of growth and change. Sometimes tough and always rewarding, our teams are stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to navigate the opportunities and challenges of Australia’s property and construction sector. A bustling landscape of projects, new partners, and opportunities our leaders and their teams delivered exceptional outcomes.

It was fantastic to have our senior management team together again in March, where we increased our focus on the future and outcomes that help our teams to continue delivering great project results and partner with our clients and the industry.

Despite some uncertainty in the broader economy, and a challenging global environment, BSE have been able to continue to invest in our team, growing and encouraging and nurturing our amazing people. With more initiatives in the works for the coming financial year, I’m excited to see more and more growth with our people.

For BSE broadly, we’re staying focused on BSE staying aware, alert and excited!

BSE’s Michael Syposz (Electrical Engineer), was hosted by Lights & Tracks for a visit to Unios, based in Perth. Lights & Tracks treated Michael and other guests to two huge days in the HQ, diving into their operations and brilliant workshops – covering all the technical assistance our team members need: good practice in lighting design, glare and dimming. Rounding out with a visit to a beautiful local winery. Of this trip, Michael shares:

“I enjoyed being part of this interesting and insightful trip. We kept to a tight schedule, and were able to cover great technical detail, while still having the opportunity of great informal conversations. Thank you James (Unios) Larissa and Brad (Lights & Tracks) for hosting me”.

World Blood Donor Day

Throughout the last year our team members have generously donated blood and plasma, as well as their own stories of receiving blood donations.

This year, we’re acknowledging the day and the World Health Organisation’s goal of achieving universal access to safe blood transfusion.

Locally, our teams have also been working hard behind the scenes, designing and documenting services design for Lifeblood centres across Australia. We have been privileged to partner with Australian Red Cross and Gardner Wetherill to deliver in multiple states around the country.
