Leadership built on partnership and practice.
Biography
Founder. Engineer. Building True Partners.
Andrew founded the business that evolved into BSE in 1994. He built the company on strong partnerships, practical problem solving, and the idea that great engineering is delivered by approachable, engaged people. His leadership style is hands-on and inclusive, and he thrives on connecting with teams and clients across all hubs.
Based in our Sydney headquarters, Andrew regularly visits BSE’s hubs in Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Newcastle. You’ll often find him leaning over a desk chatting with an engineer, or greeting a team member with a cheerful “hello mate, how’s it going?” His desk sits out on the floor with the team, reflecting his belief that open conversations, collaboration, and a good laugh are key to great outcomes. At the end of a work week, or during a celebration, he’s usually the first to make sure everyone’s drink is topped up and that everyone is having a great time.
Andrew is passionate about electrifying everything, including solar, sustainability, and electric vehicle infrastructure. He enjoys exploring new technologies and opportunities, and is energised by how quickly the industry evolves. Outside of work, Andrew is happiest on the water sailing his boat, in his workshop tinkering with a project car, or spending quality time with his wife and kids.
