Electrical Engineering Intern

“I’m incredibly grateful to BSE Australia for the opportunity to join as an Electrical Engineering Intern and gain experience that set me apart early in my career. I was welcomed into the Brisbane team and given the chance to learn, contribute, and work alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary group.

During my internship, I gained hands-on experience with industry tools including AutoCAD, Revit, DIALux, and AGI32, and contributed to real building services projects across different stages of design. This exposure gave me a much clearer understanding of how engineering decisions are developed and coordinated within a larger project environment.

“Moving to BSE was a reasonably big change for me, having moved from the Gold Coast back to Sydney, and from a smaller acoustics-only firm which largely specialised in environmental noise, to a larger multi-disciplinary team. The rest of the BSE team were fantastic in helping my transition and quickly getting me up to speed in building services to the point where I am now very confident in independently leading any acoustic project.

Additionally, BSE promotes a great work culture and allows for a lot of flexibility in my work and team building which has been very enjoyable throughout my time at the company.
