Overview
Delivering Early Learning Facilities Across Regional New South Wales
In collaboration with Australian Childcare Solutions and Winellis Project Managers, BSE contributed to the design and delivery of two new purpose-built early learning centres located in Gunnedah and Orange.
The Gunnedah centre, located at 81–85 Stock Road, is a single-storey facility designed to accommodate 88 children and includes an on-site car park. The centre was developed to meet childcare licensing spatial requirements, providing a compliant and functional learning environment.
The Orange centre, located at 36–40 Turner Crescent, is a two-storey facility designed for 94 places. It incorporates an open-to-sky ground-floor car park, optimising site use while maintaining compliance with childcare licensing standards.
Our Role
Building Services Delivery Across Multiple Regional Facilities
BSE provided engineering services across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and fire protection systems for both facilities.
Our role involved supporting the delivery of building services aligned to the operational requirements of each centre, responding to variations in building form, layout, and site conditions.
Outcomes
Compliant and Functional Facilities Supporting Regional Communities
Both centres were delivered to support the operational needs of the provider, with a focus on compliance, safety, and functionality.
The completed facilities contribute to the provision of early learning infrastructure in regional New South Wales, supporting ongoing community demand and access to childcare services.
