Overview

Refurbishment of a Premium Resort on Hastings Street

Elysium Noosa Resort is located on Hastings Street, one of Australia’s most prominent beachfront hospitality and retail precincts, known for its high-end accommodation, dining, and tourism offering.

The refurbishment involved upgrades to all 175 guest rooms, corridors, and lift lobbies, along with the transformation of the Noosa Beach House Restaurant and Bar into Cibaria Noosa, a new all-day Italian dining venue.

Delivered in a staged, wing-by-wing approach, the project enabled the resort to maintain ongoing operations while works were undertaken, minimising disruption to guests and hotel operations.

Our Role

Building Services Integration Across a Staged Refurbishment

BSE was engaged to provide electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire protection, and acoustics engineering design services for the refurbishment.

Our role included coordination of building services to support integration with the staged works, ensuring systems aligned with both existing infrastructure and the upgraded guest and hospitality spaces.

Outcomes

A Refurbished Resort Delivered with Minimal Operational Disruption

The project delivered upgraded guest accommodation and a reimagined dining offering, enhancing the overall guest experience within the resort.

The staged delivery approach allowed the resort to remain operational throughout construction, maintaining business continuity within a high-profile hospitality environment.

“Delivering a project of this scale required close coordination with the entire project delivery team and hotel operations. BSE was proud to contribute to the staged, wing-by-wing approach, helping ensure operational continuity and an exceptional guest experience.”
