Redevelopment of a Key Community and Hospitality Venue in Gosford
Gosford RSL is a long-standing community and hospitality venue on the Central Coast, providing dining, entertainment, and social spaces for members and the broader public. The redevelopment was undertaken to replace the existing facility with a contemporary club environment capable of accommodating evolving patron expectations and future growth within the Gosford precinct.
The project delivered a new RSL Club on the existing site, forming a prominent gateway building into the Gosford area. Stage 1a included the construction of a new three-level club facility, while Stage 1b involved demolition of part of the existing building and delivery of a new on-grade car park.
Our Role
Building Services Delivery Within a Live Operational Environment
BSE provided engineering consulting services including mechanical, electrical, fire protection, hydraulic, ASP3, and vertical transportation services.
A key consideration throughout the project was maintaining operation of the existing RSL Club during redevelopment works, while coordinating new services infrastructure and allowing for future expansion of the site.
Outcomes
A Modern Hospitality Facility Supporting Ongoing and Future Use
The redevelopment delivered a contemporary, multi-level RSL facility while maintaining uninterrupted operations throughout construction.
Building services were configured to support current operational requirements while allowing for future development across the site, including potential residential or hotel uses, as well as additional retail or commercial spaces.
