Overview

Repositioning a CBD Block Through Integrated Redevelopment

No.1 Anzac Square represents a $20 million upgrade and repositioning of an entire city block in Brisbane’s CBD, spanning over 52,000 square metres of net lettable area across two commercial towers and an iconic heritage-listed building fronting Anzac Square.

The project integrates 140 Creek Street, 295 Ann Street, and 232 Adelaide Street into a single, cohesive commercial precinct. The redevelopment retains the architectural character and historical significance of the heritage building while introducing improved connections across the site.

Our Role

Building Services Design Across a Multi-Building Precinct

BSE provided electrical, lighting, communications, mechanical, and building management system (BMS) design across the redevelopment.

Outcomes

An Integrated Commercial Precinct Respecting Heritage Context

The project delivers a modernised and connected commercial precinct that responds to both contemporary workplace requirements and the heritage significance of the site.

Building services design supports consistent performance across multiple buildings, enabling the precinct to operate as a unified commercial environment.
