Overview
Development of an Operational Depot for SA Power Networks
The Seaford Depot is a purpose-built facility developed for SA Power Networks to support operational and infrastructure requirements across Adelaide’s southern suburbs and the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The 25,000 square metre development includes an office building, logistics warehouse and workshop, truck bays, wash bay, and extensive car parking facilities, forming a consolidated operational hub.
Key project elements include a 2,000 square metre logistics warehouse with undercover EWP bays, solar PV installation, stormwater storage, and provision for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The facility also incorporates site-wide safety and security systems.

Our Role
Building Services Design for an Industrial Operations Facility
BSE provided electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and fire protection engineering services across the project.
Our role included early coordination of building services and spatial planning requirements for major equipment, ensuring alignment with operational needs across warehouse, workshop, and office environments.

Outcomes
A Functional Facility Supporting Operational Requirements
The completed depot provides a consolidated facility supporting SA Power Networks’ operational and logistics functions.
Building services design was integrated with the project’s infrastructure and operational requirements, supporting functionality, safety, and long-term use of the facility.
Environmental initiatives, including solar PV, stormwater storage, and provision for EV infrastructure, contribute to the facility’s performance and adaptability.
