Refurbishing Executive and Client Spaces at 8 Exhibition Street
EY, a global professional services organisation and one of the “Big Four” accounting and consulting firms, delivers assurance, consulting, strategy, and transaction services to clients worldwide.
The EY fit-out at 8 Exhibition Street in Melbourne involved refurbishment of executive and client-facing areas across two levels, including meeting rooms and concierge spaces.
The project focused on enhancing functionality and presentation while supporting contemporary ways of working and collaboration within high-quality workplace environments.
Our Role
Lighting and Services Upgrades Across a Corporate Workplace
BSE provided lighting and power design for the refurbished areas, along with upgrades to mechanical services.
The lighting design was developed to highlight architectural wall finishes along executive corridors, while multizone lighting was incorporated within meeting rooms to support flexible use and video conferencing requirements, reflecting evolving workplace needs.
Outcomes
A Flexible Workplace Experience Enabled Through Lighting Integration
The completed Wavespace lighting integrates with the interior finishes, allowing users to tailor the environment to different functions and preferences.
This flexibility supports a range of workplace activities, from client meetings to collaboration and video conferencing, contributing to a refined, adaptable, and high-performing workplace.
